With the UK increasingly falling behind it’s competitors in the number of students it is attracting to study at our academic institutions, it is imperative that the government adopts a coherent and welcoming approach that recognises the economic, cultural, and political value that international students have to our country.

For this reason, I tabled and led a Westminster Hall Debate on the government’s recently published International Education Strategy on Wednesday the 22nd May.
